Front-end Web Developer - Umbrella ltd

We are looking for a passionate front-end developer who loves to tackle new challenges, learn and apply new technologies, and work alongside other developers. 
 
Responsibilities: 


Work in an Agile team to deliver and maintain high quality products 


Collaborate with team members on product planning and roadmaps. 


Build reusable code and libraries for future use. 


Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. 


Write functional requirement documents and specifications 




Ensuring user experience determines design choices. 


Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability. 


Maintaining brand consistency throughout the design. 


Review and validate implementations of self and others to ensure they meet requirements and match the specifications. 


Troubleshoot coding issues and implement bug fixes. 


 
Skills and Qualifications 


BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant experience.  


Proficient in HTML/CSS and preferable a CSS preprocessor and frameworks Bootstrap LESS, SASS. 


Experience designing and developing responsive design websites. 




Proficient understanding of client-side web scripting using JavaScript. 


Knowledge of JS libraries/frameworks (beyond jQuery). 


Ability to integrate with backend using an API (e.g. Restful API). 


Strong time management and problem-solving skills. 


Good interpersonal and communication skills  




Experience with graphic design applications like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and content management systems. 


In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment). 


Knowledge of version control software (e.g. Git). 


Familiarity with backend technology. 


Big plus for an experience with ReactJS or Angular or VueJS
